The session was led by Shri Manish Thakar, Associate Vice President, Hitachi Hi-Rel Power Electronics, who brought a wealth of industry experience and practical insights to the discussion.

Through real-world examples and engaging conversations, Shri Thakar helped students understand how rapidly evolving technologies are transforming business models, operations, decision-making, customer expectations, and the competitive landscape. His practical approach made it easier for students to connect what they learn in the classroom with the challenges and opportunities businesses face today.

From Ideas to Ventures: Special Session on “Accelerators & Incubation Opportunities” for MCA/MBA Students

On 25 August 2026, the Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, organized a special session on “Accelerators/Incubation Opportunities” for MCA and MBA students.

The session was led by Dr. Rishi Raj Singh, Director General, All India MSME Federation, Ahmedabad, and focused on creating awareness about startup accelerators, incubation centres, and the entrepreneurship support ecosystem. Students were introduced to the journey of transforming innovative ideas into viable business ventures through ideation, innovation, incubation, startup development, and commercialization.

A key takeaway was the importance of looking beyond conventional academic and employment pathways and considering entrepreneurship as a career opportunity. The session also highlighted how industry and entrepreneurship-support organizations can help young innovators move from an initial idea toward a structured and commercially viable venture.

To help students progress from ideation to validation and commercialization future sessions through startup case studies, idea-pitch activities, information on funding and government schemes, interaction with incubators and successful founders, and follow-up mentoring is recommended.

The session was delivered by Mr. JuzerTambawalla, Director – Sales Enablement, Franklin Templeton India, and CA Harpreet Singh, Head – Programs & Certification, FinX Learning.

Mr. JuzerTambawalla, a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), brings over two decades of experience in the financial services and asset management industry, with expertise spanning business strategy, marketing, product development, sales enablement, and leadership. CA Harpreet Singh is a seasoned BFSI professional with over 24 years of experience across leading financial and banking organizations and has held senior leadership positions in business banking and credit management.

The session focused on Financial Assetsand their practical applications in the financial services sector. The speakers shared industry-oriented perspectives that helped students understand the role and relevance of financial instruments in investment, financial services, and business decision-making.

The interactive session provided MBA students with valuable exposure to real-world financial practices and helped them connect classroom concepts to the requirements of the financial services industry. FUSION 2026: A Dynamic Beginning to the MBA & MCA Journey

The Institute of Technology & Science (I.T.S.) successfully organised FUSION 2026 – MBA & MCA Orientation Programme for the newly admitted 2026–28 batch from 17 to 22 August 2026. The six-day programme was designed to provide students with a meaningful introduction to the Institute, academic programmes, industry expectations, emerging technologies, career opportunities and campus life.

The programme began with student registration, documentation and familiarisation with the Institute’s administrative and digital facilities. The formal inauguration brought together distinguished dignitaries and academic leaders, who encouraged students to embrace continuous learning, adaptability, professional competence, ethical values and holistic development. Students were also introduced to the Institute, programme structure, academic processes, faculty, functional clubs and career-development opportunities.
A major highlight of FUSION 2026 was its strong focus on industry interaction and emerging technologies. Expert sessions covered areas such as technology-enabled supply chains, AI skills, future-ready careers, innovation, entrepreneurship, Cognitive AI, Space Technology and industry transformation. These interactions gave students valuable exposure to real-world developments and the changing skills expected by employers.
The orientation also incorporated experiential and activity-based learning through business case studies, news analysis, functional case studies, programming fundamentals, AI sessions, group activities and student engagement initiatives. As part of the ongoing FUSION 2026 Orientation Programme for the newly admitted 23rd Batch of MBA and 30th Batch of MCA, I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, hosted a full day of academic and industry-focused activities on 20th August 2026.

The day began with a guest session by Shri Rajesh Munjal, Founder & CEO of mHealth, who interacted with students on the highly relevant theme, “Innovation, Technology, Entrepreneurship & Wellbeing – From Degree to Direction.”

The conversation was interactive and thought-provoking. Shri Munjal encouraged students to look beyond simply earning a degree and to think about the direction they want to take in their careers and lives. He spoke about how innovation, emerging technologies and an entrepreneurial mindset are creating new opportunities and changing the way we work and learn.

At the same time, he emphasized that professional success is only truly meaningful when it is balanced with personal wellbeing, adaptability and a clear sense of purpose. His message encouraged students to think about long-term growth rather than focusing only on immediate career goals.

The day began with sessions focused on participant-driven clubs, facility and faculty briefing, and an ice-breaking interaction, helping students become familiar with the academic environment and engage with their peers.

The programme began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey, Director, I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad. Addressing the newly admitted students, he spoke about the rapid pace of technological disruption, innovation, and the ever-changing business landscape. He highlighted how emerging technologies are reshaping traditional business models and encouraged students to embrace change, think innovatively, keep learning, and understand how technology can address real-world business needs.

A key highlight was the industry expert session by Dr. H. S. Banga, Group Chief Digital Officer, Movers International, on “Building Tomorrow’s Supply Chains: Technology, Talent & Transformation.”In his highly engaging session, Dr. H. S. Banga discussed how digital technologies, data-driven decision-making, automation and integrated systems are reshaping modern supply chains. Through real-world business cases, students gained insights into operational challenges, efficiency, resilience and the creation of measurable business value.

The programme further explored critical contemporary themes including cybersecurity, risk governance and leadership in the digital enterprise, as well as AI-driven careers and industry expectations. Students were also introduced to the growing convergence of Enterprise AI and Enterprise Blockchain in business.

He further highlighted that technology alone cannot create transformation unless it is supported by the right talent, mindset, leadership and organisational readiness. His interaction enabled students to understand how business problems are approached in the corporate world and how technology can be leveraged to create measurable business value.

Another important session was delivered by Smt. Kaamna Jain, Lead Communication and Collaboration, NASSCOM, on “Future-Ready Careers: Industry Expectations, AI Skills, and Career Pathways with NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime.” The session focused on helping students understand what the industry expects from freshers and how they can prepare themselves for successful entry into the corporate world.

Smt. Kaamna Jain discussed the key expectations of employers from fresh graduates, including relevant skills, professional communication, confidence, adaptability, a willingness to learn and the ability to demonstrate practical understanding. She also shared insights into what is commonly asked during interviews and encouraged students to prepare themselves by understanding both the role they are applying for and the skills required by the industry.

She further introduced students to career pathways and AI-related skills through NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime. The session also included information about the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with I.T.S and the courses offered through the initiative, giving students an understanding of opportunities available to strengthen their employability and develop future-ready skills.

Welcome to FUSION 2026–28: MBA & MCA Students Begin Their New Academic Journey

The Institute of Technology & Science, Ghaziabad warmly welcomed its newly admitted MBA and MCA students of the 2026–28 batch as the much-awaited FUSION 2026–28 journey commenced on Monday, 17 August 2026.

The first day of the Orientation Programme was dedicated to giving students a smooth and welcoming start to their academic journey. The day began with student reporting , followed by a comprehensive onboarding process comprising registration, document verification, uniform measurement, medical checkup and face recognition, essential digital onboarding activities such as Wi-Fi access and creation of official e-mail IDs.

The first day of FUSION 2026–28 thus marked more than just the completion of admission formalities—it marked the beginning of a new chapter filled with learning, exploration, collaboration, innovation and opportunities.

The Institute extends its warmest wishes to all the newly admitted MBA and MCA students and welcomes them to the ITS family. As they embark on this two-year academic journey, FUSION 2026–28 promises to be the beginning of an enriching experience that connects classroom learning with industry exposure, professional growth and lifelong friendships.

MBA Faculty conducted Master Class at Amity Finishing School , Amity University, Noida

Dr. Sanjeev Tandon, Professor & Chairperson (MBA), I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad,  conducted a Master Class on “Luxury Retail Beyond Luxury: The Rise of Millennials Gen-Z” on 10 August 2026 for the new batch of PG Diploma in Luxury Brand Management at Amity Finishing School, Amity University, Sector 125, Noida. The session focused on how Millennials and Gen-Z are redefining luxury through experiential retail, personalisation, digital engagement, authenticity, sustainability, and emotional value. Contemporary industry examples and practical insights enabled students to understand emerging trends and the future of luxury retail.

The Master Class concluded with an interactive discussion and exchange of ideas, offering students valuable industry-oriented insights.

I.T.S organised MBA Reorientation Program– HORIZON 2026 (MBA Batch 2025–2027)

The Department of MBA, Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad,successfully organized the three-day HORIZON 2026 Re-Orientation Program from July 27 to 29, 2026 for the MBA Batch 2025–2027. The program was designed to facilitate a smooth transition into the third semester by reconnecting students with academic expectations, specialization pathways, employability requirements, and Summer Internship Project (SIP) progress.
The program commenced with the inaugural session, which outlined the objectives and significance of the re-orientation program. Students were subsequently addressed by the Area Heads of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations & Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics. The sessions provided detailed information on specialization-specific curricula, elective choices, career opportunities, certification options, academic policies, and evaluation processes. The day concluded with mentor–mentee interactions, during which faculty mentors reviewed the initial drafts of the Summer Internship Project (SIP) reports and provided individualized academic guidance.

The second day emphasized knowledge enhancement and student engagement through an inter-specialization Business Quiz Competition, coordinated by Dr. Puja Garg. Students participated enthusiastically in multiple quiz rounds covering business current affairs, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations, Business Analytics, visual identification, and rapid- fire questions. The competition promoted analytical thinking, teamwork, and healthy academic
competition. Mr. Aayush Singh was declared the winner, while Mr. Kaushal Raj Kumar secured the second position. During the post-lunch session, faculty mentors conducted another round of mentor–mentee meetings, evaluating the revised SIP drafts and providing constructive feedback on project objectives, methodology, analysis, report structure, and documentation. The concluding day focused on career readiness and employability enhancement. Ms. Renu Gautam, Head – Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), conducted an interactive session on placement planning, recruitment processes, company expectations, and selection procedures. Students were guided on the institutes placement ecosystem and motivated to prepare strategically for campus recruitment. This was followed by an engaging session on Job Description (JD) Mapping under the Employability Enhancement Module, delivered by Dr. Sanjeev Tandon. Students learned to interpret job descriptions, identify competency requirements, perform skill-gap analysis, customize resumes, and align their academic and internship experiences with industry expectations. The program concluded with mentor–mentee
interactions dedicated to reviewing the final draft of the SIP reports and providing recommendations for further refinement. Overall, HORIZON 2026 successfully achieved its objective of reorienting students towards academic excellence, career preparedness, and professional development. The program strengthened students, understanding of specialization opportunities, enhanced their business awareness, reinforced employability skills, and ensured systematic progress on their Summer Internship Projects. The active participation of students, faculty members, mentors, Area Heads, and the Corporate Resource Centre contributed significantly to the success of the program, providing a strong foundation for the academic and professional journey of the MBA Batch 2025–2027.

Empowering Faculty with AI: A Five-Day FDP on Deep Learning and Generative AI by MCA Department

The Department of Information Technology (MCA), I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Deep Learning, Gen AI Tools, Prompt Engineering and Real-World AI Applications” from 20th to 24th July 2026, with participation from 35 faculty members of the IT (MCA) and MBA departments. The program featured distinguished resource persons including Prof. Vinay Nangia, Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey, Dr. Rajdev Tiwari, Dr. Suneet Kumar Gupta, Dr. Puja Dhar, Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha, and Prof. Varun Arora.

The sessions offered comprehensive insights into emerging AI technologies and their practical applications. Dr. Suneet Kumar Gupta delivered a session on the fundamentals of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, CNNs, RNNs, recent advances, and current research trends. Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey addressed Generative AI, AI architectures, emerging AI trends, Prompt Engineering, prompt design techniques, and best practices for Large Language Models, along with hands-on applications of AI tools in teaching and academic research. Dr. Rajdev Tiwari explored AI applications in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, agriculture, and smart cities, supported by industry case studies and insights into future career opportunities in AI. Prof. Varun Arora conducted a session on the PRISMA framework, AI-assisted literature review, systematic review methodology, and the effective use of Generative AI in research.

Further, Dr. Puja Dhar delivered an insightful session on Machine Learning for Cybersecurity, threat detection, intrusion detection systems, AI-based security solutions, and real-world cybersecurity applications. Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha focused on AI-assisted academic writing, coding, data analysis, literature review techniques, and research productivity tools. The FDP concluded with Prof. Vinay Nangia’s session on AI-based lesson planning, teaching pedagogy, technology-enabled classroom practices, and innovative curriculum design.

Through expert-led lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and real-world case studies, the FDP enhanced participants’ understanding and practical skills in AI for teaching, research, academic writing, coding, data analysis, cybersecurity, and curriculum development. The program concluded with participant feedback and certificate distribution, with faculty members expressing their willingness to adopt AI-enabled teaching and research practices.

Utthan Activity (A CSR Initiative) of the Institute of Technology & Science, organized an awareness activity titled “Sankalp – Shaping a Drug-Free Generation (Nasha Mukti Abhiyan)”

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and youth empowerment, the Utthan Activity (A CSR Initiative) of the Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, organized an awareness activity titled “Sankalp – Shaping a Drug-Free Generation (Nasha Mukti Abhiyan)” for underprivileged school students of class 6, 7 and 8 on 23rd July 2026.

The objective of the activity was to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and other addictive substances while encouraging them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.

The program commenced with an awareness session highlighting the importance of making positive life choices and resisting peer pressure. Students were motivated to become ambassadors of a drug-free society by spreading awareness among their families, friends, and communities.

To reinforce the message creatively, a Drawing and Poster Making Competition was conducted on the theme “Sankalp – Shaping a Drug-Free Generation”. Students were provided with sheets and stationary and they enthusiastically participated by expressing their thoughts through colourful drawings, creative slogans, and impactful posters. Their artwork depicted the ill effects of substance abuse, the importance of healthy living, and the vision of a safe and addiction-free future.

The event concluded with a Drug-Free Pledge, where MBA student volunteers made all students pledge to stay away from drugs and harmful substances, encourage others to make healthy choices, and contribute towards creating a drug-free India.

The winners of the activity were awarded with Gifts and Certificates by  Director, I.T.S - Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey and Director, I.T.S School of Management, Dr. Ajay Kumar, along with Faculty Coordinators Prof. Shilpi Rana and Dr. Prachi Pachaury.

At the end, students were given refreshments.

The activity not only enhanced their understanding of the dangers of substance abuse but also inspired them to become responsible citizens capable of bringing positive change to society.
