Institute of Technology & Science, Ghaziabad organized Day 4 of Aarambh – MBA Orientation 2025 on September 11, 2025 to provide students with valuable insights into emotional intelligence, stress management, learning methodologies, and exposure to functional clubs. Coordinated by Dr. Sanjeev Tandon and Prof. Samiksha Budakoti from the Department of Management, the sessions were designed to equip students with essential managerial skills and holistic development opportunities.
The day began with a session on Gen AI & Emotional Intelligence for MBAs – The Way Forward conducted by Mr. Adarsh Rai, Emotional Intelligence & Corporate Trainer, Global Career Counselor- University of California, Founder HR Brain HUB. The session emphasized the importance of emotional intelligence in leadership and adaptability, while also highlighting the role of emerging technologies such as Gen AI in reshaping management practices.
Following this, Dr. Uma Gulati addressed students on Stress Management. The session focused on practical techniques for managing stress in academic and professional life, incorporating mindfulness practices and coping strategies to help students balance their workload effectively.
Prof. Shilpi Rana conducted a session on Introduction to Online Learning Architecture & Digital Tools. This session introduced students to digital platforms, online resources, and tools that will enhance their learning process and support them throughout their MBA journey, preparing them for a digitally driven work environment.
The day concluded with an engaging session on Exposure to Participants’ Driven Clubs, facilitated by the Functional Club Heads. This interactive segment gave students an overview of various functional clubs, encouraging them to actively participate in co-curricular initiatives that foster leadership, teamwork, and holistic development.
Overall, the fourth day of Aarambh – MBA Orientation 2025 successfully combined academic enrichment, personal development, and exposure to student-driven activities. The sessions were highly engaging, well-received by students, and laid a strong foundation for their MBA journey.

The Department of Management at the Institute of Technology and Science (I.T.S), Ghaziabad, organized Day 2 of the MBA Orientation Program AARAMBH 2025 on 09 September 2025,
Tuesday. The first session was an Ice-Breaking activity conducted by in-house faculty members through storytelling, “Simon Says,” and a tower-building challenge, which enhanced communication, creativity, teamwork, and leadership skills while fostering a collaborative environment. The second session on Mind and Memory Management was conducted by Mr. Ved Prakash, NLP Coach & Founder – Program Your Mind. He highlighted the importance of NLP, time management, and stress-relief techniques, inspiring students to set goals and pursue them enthusiastically.

Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad organized Day 1 of Aarambh 25 Orientation Programme for the MBA 2025–27 batch on 8th September 2025, Monday. A total of 193 students attended the sessions. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the institute, align them with the expectations of management education, and inspire them to begin their MBA journey with clarity and enthusiasm.
The first session “Know Your Institute – Building Your Future with I.T.S” was conducted by Dr. Ashish Kr. Jha, Associate Professor. He introduced the students to the institute’s vision, mission, academic framework, faculty, CRC, and resources for holistic development. He emphasized I.T.S’s legacy in management education, opportunities for industry exposure, leadership development, and aligning personal career goals with institutional support.
The second session “Shaping Attitude, Shaping Success – The MBA Journey Begins” was led by Dr. Sanjeev Tandon, Professor. He stressed the importance of attitude, resilience, self-discipline, teamwork, and continuous learning in achieving success. Two interactive activities on Attitude and Overcoming Fear encouraged students to adopt a proactive and positive outlook.
Both sessions together laid a strong foundation, instilling pride, motivation, and confidence among the freshers as they embarked on their transformative MBA journey at I.T.S.

The event provided an excellent platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and capacity building. We actively attended keynote sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. They gained valuable insights on Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and other emerging domains. Participation in Bridge 25 proved to be highly beneficial for MCA faculty members. The learnings and experiences from this event will contribute towards enhancing academic delivery, strengthening industry-academia collaboration, and guiding students to meet future industry challenges.

The Department of IT organized an industrial visit for MCA students to UniCoverage Technologies on 29th August 2025.
A total of 70 students participated in the visit. During the session, the company representatives delivered an insightful presentation on IoT technologies and their real-world applications. They also guided the students about the career prospects in this emerging field. In addition, students were given a demonstration of how IoT chips are designed, prepared, and tested in the production line before being released into the market. The visit proved to be highly informative and provided valuable industry exposure to the students.

Faculties of Department of Management, Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad conducted a training session on “From Theory to Action: Resolving Ethical Dilemmas with Integrity” at Flash Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. on 22nd August 2025.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Uma Gulati and Prof. Astha Shukla with the objective of sensitizing executives and managers to the significance of ethics and values in professional life. It aimed at deepening understanding of ethical leadership, exposing participants to real-world dilemmas, providing experiential learning through group activities, and encouraging self-reflection on integrity in decision-making.
The methodology adopted combined conceptual insights with practical tools, including case-based learning, group simulations, interactive discussions on ethical grey zones, and reflection exercises. This participatory approach ensured active engagement and critical thinking among the participants.
The key outcomes included enhanced ability to differentiate between ethics and values, effective use of structured frameworks for analyzing dilemmas, improved confidence in collaborative conflict resolution, and a strengthened commitment to integrity-driven leadership. Faculties of Department of Management, Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad conducted a Management Development Program (MDP) on “Ethics and Values – Solving Ethical Dilemmas” at Powergrid Corporation of India, Faridabad on 21st August 2025. The session was facilitated by Dr. Uma Gulati and Prof. Astha Shukla and was attended by 35 executives from the Northern Region.
The program aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of ethics, expose them to real-world dilemmas, and equip them with a structured approach to ethical decision-making. Using a blend of conceptual inputs, case-based discussions, simulations, and open dialogue, the session created an interactive environment that promoted collaborative problem-solving and self-reflection.
Key outcomes included enhanced awareness of ethical leadership, increased confidence in applying values-driven frameworks, and personal commitment towards ethical practices. The methodology was highly appreciated for its practical orientation and relevance to workplace challenges, enabling participants to shift their perspective from mere compliance to integrity-based decision-making.

The Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on "Transforming Teaching Practices for Academic Excellence-II" was conducted by the Department of Management, Institute of Technology and Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad on 20th August 2025,
with Dr. Ravinder Kumar, Professor in the Department of Commerce & Business Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia, serving as the expert facilitator. The programme was strategically designed to foster constructive dialogue between faculty members and the invited expert, with a primary focus on enhancing teaching practices to improve student engagement and learning outcomes. Faculty members were encouraged to come well-prepared, bringing their course plans, current pedagogical approaches and methodologies, along with reading materials, references, and other learning resources utilized in their respective courses.
During the interactive session, faculty members actively participated by sharing their course plans, pedagogical methodologies, and learning resources, receiving valuable suggestions from Dr. Kumar on how to enrich the overall teaching-learning experience. The discussions centered on adopting innovative pedagogical strategies, diversifying learning resources, and ensuring course delivery aligned with contemporary academic and industry requirements. Dr. V. N. Bajpai, Director of I.T.S Ghaziabad, contributed his valuable insights by emphasizing the critical importance of pedagogical innovation and continuous faculty development, while also addressing common challenges encountered by faculty members in their teaching practices.

UDAY Club of the Department of IT organized a special celebration on the “79th Independence Day” with underprivileged children as a CSR initiative on August 15, 2025.

The UDAY Club of the Department of I.T, I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad celebrated the 79th Independence Day with over 300 underprivileged children from the Indirapuram slum area at Green Belt, Shakti Khand-IV, Ghaziabad, with the aim of spreading joy, patriotism, and a sense of belonging among them.
The event, inaugurated by Prof. Puja Dhar, Chairperson-MCA, and Prof. Ashwini Kumar, Coordinator-CSR Club, created a vibrant and festive atmosphere with decorations of national flags, balloons, and banners. It began with a flag-hoisting ceremony and the national anthem, followed by cultural performances where children showcased dances, songs, and skits highlighting the spirit of freedom and independence. To make the day even more memorable, fun activities and games such as sack races, drawing competitions, and musical chairs were organized, with prizes awarded to winners, filling the children with excitement and happiness. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets and snacks to every child, leaving them with smiles and cherished memories.

The Preliminary Round of MSME Idea Hackathon 5.0 was successfully conducted virtually on August 11, 2025, hosted by I.T.S Ghaziabad under the aegis of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME). The event aimed to identify and promote innovative ideas with potential for commercialization and societal impact was coordinated by Prof. Samiksha Budakoti.
A total of 11 participants attended the session, presenting their innovative concepts across diverse domains. The participants demonstrated creativity, problem-solving skills, and entrepreneurial thinking while addressing real-world challenges.
The evaluation process was carried out by a panel of four experts, comprising three internal experts, Dr. Uma Gulati, Dr. Puneet Kumar and Dr. Rajeev Johari from I.T.S Ghaziabad and one external expert, Dr. Ashu Jain, Director, Entrepreneurship Development Cell at Dept. of Commerce, St. Aloysius’ College, Jabalpur. The experts assessed the ideas based on parameters such as innovation, feasibility, market potential, scalability, and social relevance.
The session provided a valuable platform for aspiring innovators to receive constructive feedback and expert guidance to further refine their ideas. Selected participants from this round will progress to the subsequent stages of the Hackathon for potential support in prototype development and funding.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the experts and participants, acknowledging their contribution to the success of the preliminary screening process.

A total of 180 students from BBA & BCA 2nd and 3rd year were present in this session. Dr. S.P. Mishra (Vice President & CEO, PrCB-IYA Former Director- Institute of Entrepreneurship) delivered an insightful session and he majorly focus on holistic development—emphasizing that true success is not just about getting a degree or a job, but about developing values, creativity, and purpose in life. He emphasized that Entrepreneurship is crucial for India's economic growth, job creation, and social development. It drives innovation, fosters competition, and helps address pressing societal issues. By encouraging entrepreneurial activities, India can unlock its potential for progress and emerge as a global leader.

As India envisions becoming a developed nation by 2047, the conference served as a significant platform to explore the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence in reshaping education. The discussions highlighted how AI is being leveraged to enable personalized learning experiences, bridge gaps in accessibility, enhance teacher effectiveness, and facilitate data-driven educational policies to build a progressive and inclusive education system.
Several eminent dignitaries graced the event. The Chief Guest, Mr. Ashish Sood, Hon’ble Minister for Home, Power, and Education, Government of Delhi, emphasized the importance of integrating AI in public education to make learning more engaging and future-ready.
