The Binary Club of the Department of Management at I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, successfully organized an engaging and creative event titled "Reelvolution 2025" on June 6, 2025, for the MBA (2024–26) Batch. The event was skilfully coordinated by Dr. Mansi Singh, Faculty Coordinator of the Binary Club (IT).

This exciting activity was designed to enhance students’ creativity, storytelling, and digital editing skills by encouraging them to create short, impactful videos using AI-based tools and video editing applications.

The event was conducted in two rounds:

Round 1 featured a video-making competition in which several teams created 2–3 minute videos on the theme "College Life" using various editing and AI-based applications. Based on creativity, clarity of message, and technical execution, two teams were shortlisted for the final round.

Round 2 was an app-based puzzle challenge, where the selected participants from the finalist teams competed individually. They were required to solve logic-driven tech puzzles within a limited time. This round tested their quick thinking, reasoning, and familiarity with interactive digital platforms.

Second Prize: Suryansh

The event was judged by Prof. Samiksha Budakoti, who appreciated the participants' innovation, creativity, and enthusiasm.

The event concluded with a Felicitation Ceremony, where certificates and prizes were awarded to the winners. Participation certificates were also distributed to all contestants as a token of appreciation.

"Reelvolution 2025" was a lively and thought-provoking event that inspired students to blend technology with creative expression. The Binary Club looks forward to organizing more such events that engage and empower students in meaningful ways.

Department of MBA successfully organised Tariff Talk Inter Institute Policy Presentation Contest- 2025 on June 5,2025.

The MBA Department of the Institute of Technology and Science, Ghaziabad, successfully organized the Tariff Talk Presentation Contest 2025 on June 05, 2025. The event aimed to enhance students’ analytical and presentation skills through engaging discussions on tariff-related topics relevant to both global and domestic trade.

Each participating team, comprising two members, delivered structured, research-driven presentations on themes related to tariffs, international trade policies, and their economic implications. The contest witnessed enthusiastic participation from MBA students across various institutions. Total 13 teams registered from I.T.S Mohan Nagar, ABES Business School and KIET Ghaziabad out of which 10 teams performed.

The event was judged by Prof. (Dr.) Uma Gulati, Chairperson - MBA Department, and Prof. Parul Gupta. Teams were evaluated on content relevance, conceptual clarity, presentation skills, teamwork, and their ability to respond to questions.

Both judges commended the participants for their efforts and emphasized the role of such contests in shaping future business leaders.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners and the distribution of certificates to all participating teams. All participants received certificates, and the winners were awarded attractive prizes.

The Programming Club of the Department of IT conducted an interactive peer learning session and hands-on workshop on “Web Application Development Using Bootstrap” for MCA first-year students on June 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Lab-3, AB IV.

The workshop, led by Mr. Pankaj Lodhi (MCA 2024–26, Section B), covered key topics such as an introduction to Bootstrap, its components, layout and grid system, and customization techniques. Activities included hands-on exercises, group projects to build responsive websites, and Q&A sessions, all aimed at enhancing practical understanding. The session was effective, with students showing strong comprehension and skill development in Bootstrap-based web design.

Students of MBA department of I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad participate in an inter-college Research Paper Presentation Competition ‘SHODH-2025’, organized by Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology (RKGIT), Ghaziabad on June 04, 2025.

The competition focused on promoting awareness, research, and innovative ideas aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. The event witnessed active participation from 16 different college teams, showcasing diverse and thoughtful approaches to sustainability challenges.

Four students of MBA 1st year (2024-26 Batch), in Two teams from our institute participated in the event.

Team 1, represented by Anshika Jain and Mahima Miyan, secured First position in the event, outperforming 15 other inter-college team, made presentation on the topic “From Slums to Smart Cities”.

Team 2, represented by Muskan and Priyanshi, participated enthusiastically and received Participation Certificates on the topic “Bridging the Equity Gap in Quality Education through Digital Learning Innovations” in recognition of their valuable contributions.

The event served as a valuable experiential learning platform for the students and reinforced the importance of active engagement in sustainable development discourse. The success and participation of our students reflect the institution's commitment to encouraging academic excellence and socially responsible innovation.

The Department of Management, I.T.S Ghaziabad organized a workshop on "Fintech Innovations in Wealth Management" for 2nd semester MBA students (2024-2026 batch) on May 29, 2025.

The workshop was held in Dronacharya Auditorium and featured Dr. Raghuveer Kaur, Data Protection Officer & GRC Lead at Cateina Technologies & Starfish Digital, New Delhi, as the guest speaker. The session was started with the welcome of the speaker by Dr Uma Gulati - the chairperson of the MBA programme.

Dr. Kaur highlighted the significance of fintech innovations in wealth management, including robo-advisors, digital asset management, AI-powered portfolio management, blockchain-based solutions, and mobile wealth management apps. The speaker shared her expertise on the structure and growth of fintech in India, providing students with valuable industry insights. Dr. Kaur emphasized the career opportunities available in the fintech sector, encouraging students to explore this field.

The workshop included a Q&A session, allowing students to clarify their doubts and engage with the speaker. Dr. Kaur shared her experience and knowledge on fintech innovations, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the industry. The workshop concluded with a plaque presentation by Dr. Vinay Kumar Srivastava to the speaker.

The workshop was well-received by the students, who expressed interest in attending more such sessions in the future. The session provided students with valuable insights into fintech innovations in wealth management, career opportunities, and industry trends.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Institute  of Technology and Science, Ghaziabad and RACE Eco Chain Limited on May 29, 2025.

 

A representative team including Ms. Ankita Chatterjee, HR- Head of RACE Eco Chain Ltd. visited institute and interacted with the students on larger purpose of the company’s existence in the area of waste management.  The MoU between RACE Eco Chain Limited and I.T.S Ghaziabad represents a significant step toward addressing India's waste management challenges through strategic industry-academia collaboration. By combining RACE's practical expertise in waste management with I.T.S Ghaziabad's academic excellence, this partnership is positioned to create innovative solutions that can transform the waste management landscape in India.

The timing of this partnership, coinciding with the waste collection drive from May 29-31, 2025, demonstrates both organizations' commitment to practical implementation of sustainable practices alongside strategic planning for long-term impact.

This collaboration serves as a model for how industry-academia partnerships can effectively address complex environmental challenges while providing valuable learning opportunities for students and contributing to the development of a more organized and efficient waste management ecosystem in India.

A workshop was organized for the students of MBA First Year (Batch 2024-26). The topic of the session was ‘The Reel life Impact on RealMental Health’.The guest of the day Ms. Namrata Singhal is an Alumna of MBA (2017-19) Batch. She is also a trained Psychologist, an Expressive art Therapist and Founder of Emotional Detox. The workshop commenced with the welcome of the Ms. Namrata byChairperson MBA Program-Dr. Uma Gulati. In her session, Ms. Singhaltalked about the impact of social media on our mental health.

During the workshop, Ms. Singhal highlighted how social media has become anindispensable part of our lives and how it takes up a substantial amount of our time. Different engaging and fun activities were used to bring home the impact of social media on the user’s mental health. The participants freely expressed their feelings, fears and aspirations and were curious to know the solutions for the challenges they were facing in their lives.

The workshop witnessed very active participation from the students as they raised their queries and expressed their desire to actively monitor and strengthen their mental health.

METANOIA- The HR Club organized "HR Fiesta" for MBA 2024-26 batch

The HR Club METANOIA of the Department of MBA, I.T.S – The Education Group, Mohan Nagar successfully organized its Club event HR Fiesta 2025 on May 16, 2025.

The event aimed to provide students of MBA Batch 2024-26, with a dynamic platform to explore and apply HR concepts in a fun and engaging manner. A total of 19 enthusiastic teams from the MBA 2024–26 batch participated in two challenging and innovative rounds: Round 1: Scavenger Scramble, A dynamic HR-themed scavenger hunt where teams decoded clues, navigated checkpoints, and demonstrated teamwork and quick thinking. Round 2: Prop-a-Tune, In this round, teams were given random props and had to creatively design and present an HR-related skit or pitch, assessing their spontaneity, concept clarity, and communication skills.

After thorough evaluation, the top performers of HR Fiesta 2025 were:1st Prize: Richa, 2nd Prize: Muskan and 3rd Prize: Ayushi

The event was well-received by participants, faculty, and audience members. It provided a valuable platform for experiential learning, critical thinking, and peer engagement. Participants expressed appreciation for the event’s creativity and relevance to real-world HR scenarios.

Prof. Ashwini kumar and Prof. Vaibhav Kumar Bhatnagar attended a 5-day Faculty Enablement Program (FEP) organized by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in collaboration with Infosys Springboard from May 19 to 23, 2025.

The five-day Faculty Enablement Program was an enriching and knowledge-intensive experience for all participants.

Day 1 featured a walkthrough of the Infosys Springboard platform by Ms. Dimple Basin, followed by a virtual session on Bloom’s Taxonomy by Ms. Dheeptha. On Day 2, Ms. Neha Antil conducted an engaging session on Professional Skills, covering decision-making, team management, delegation, and design thinking. Day 3, led by Ms. Dimple Basin, focused on foundational concepts in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data Science, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), culminating in the completion of three certifications. Day 4 was dedicated to advanced AI topics, with Mr. Vayu Tripathi introduced Deep Learning, Computer Vision, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), followed by respective certifications. The final day included a comprehensive session on Generic AI by Ms. Dimple Basin, emphasizing interdisciplinary applications and ethical AI practices, along with a group presentation activity on program learnings and curriculum integration. The visit was graced by the presence of Director-IT, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, and accompanied by faculty members including Prof. Puja Dhar, Prof. Saurabh Saxena, Prof. Chanchal Prabha, Prof. Samita Kansal, Prof. Varun Arora, Prof. Ashwini Kumar, Prof. Abhay Kr. Ray, Prof. Vaibhav Bhatnagar, Dr. Neeraj Jain, and Prof. Saroj. The visit aimed to provide students with real-world exposure to data center infrastructure, cloud services, and IT operations. After a security check and gate pass issuance, students attended a session by Mr. Anirudh on data center safety, emergency protocols, and strict operational guidelines. They explored Yotta’s multi-layered security systems, visited the on-site gym promoting employee wellness, and observed cabin setups designed for data privacy and compliance. Students also toured the UPS room, crucial for power backup, and received a demonstration by Mr. Ayush on how chillers manage data center temperatures. The visit offered valuable insights into infrastructure management, cybersecurity, operational discipline, and the workflow of the Command Center. Upon returning, students submitted detailed visit reports to the department, making the experience highly educational for both students and faculty.

The event, designed exclusively for MBA students, unfurled its colourful aura and radiated sheer enthusiasm throughout the day. The inaugural ceremony was blessed with the gracious presence of Dr. V.N. Bajpai, Director, who inaugurated the event with his motivational address. The event was further dignified by the presence of Dr. Uma Gulati (Chairperson, MBA Program), Dr. Sanjeev Tandon (Faculty Sports Coordinator), Mr. Anuj Chaudhary (Sports Officer), and a dynamic gathering of faculty members and students from the MBA Batch 2024–2026. The event continued with its scheduled activities including Badminton (Singles) and Chess, in both boys’ and girls’ categories. The indoor venues came alive with thundering applause, electrifying rallies, strategic checkmates, and an overarching spirit of sportsmanship. The atmosphere brimmed with excitement as players battled not just their opponents, but also pushed their limits, earning accolades and admiration from peers and faculty alike. The presence of faculty members: Prof. Swaraj Manchanda, Dr. Parul Gupta, Dr. Surendra Tiwari, Prof. Astha Shukla, Dr. Puneet Kumar, and Prof. Neha Sabarwal, amplified the zeal of the event. 85 students registered themselves to compete in various competitive sports events in single and double category.
