The session focused on how Millennials and Gen-Z are redefining luxury through experiential retail, personalisation, digital engagement, authenticity, sustainability, and emotional value. Contemporary industry examples and practical insights enabled students to understand emerging trends and the future of luxury retail.
The Master Class concluded with an interactive discussion and exchange of ideas, offering students valuable industry-oriented insights.
I.T.S organised MBA Reorientation Program– HORIZON 2026 (MBA Batch 2025–2027)

The Department of MBA, Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad,successfully organized the three-day HORIZON 2026 Re-Orientation Program from July 27 to 29, 2026 for the MBA Batch 2025–2027. The program was designed to facilitate a smooth transition into the third semester by reconnecting students with academic expectations, specialization pathways, employability requirements, and Summer Internship Project (SIP) progress.
The program commenced with the inaugural session, which outlined the objectives and significance of the re-orientation program. Students were subsequently addressed by the Area Heads of Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations & Supply Chain Management, and Business Analytics. The sessions provided detailed information on specialization-specific curricula, elective choices, career opportunities, certification options, academic policies, and evaluation processes. The day concluded with mentor–mentee interactions, during which faculty mentors reviewed the initial drafts of the Summer Internship Project (SIP) reports and provided individualized academic guidance.
The second day emphasized knowledge enhancement and student engagement through an inter-specialization Business Quiz Competition, coordinated by Dr. Puja Garg. Students participated enthusiastically in multiple quiz rounds covering business current affairs, Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Operations, Business Analytics, visual identification, and rapid- fire questions. The competition promoted analytical thinking, teamwork, and healthy academic
competition. Mr. Aayush Singh was declared the winner, while Mr. Kaushal Raj Kumar secured the second position. During the post-lunch session, faculty mentors conducted another round of mentor–mentee meetings, evaluating the revised SIP drafts and providing constructive feedback on project objectives, methodology, analysis, report structure, and documentation. The concluding day focused on career readiness and employability enhancement. Ms. Renu Gautam, Head – Corporate Resource Centre (CRC), conducted an interactive session on placement planning, recruitment processes, company expectations, and selection procedures. Students were guided on the institutes placement ecosystem and motivated to prepare strategically for campus recruitment. This was followed by an engaging session on Job Description (JD) Mapping under the Employability Enhancement Module, delivered by Dr. Sanjeev Tandon. Students learned to interpret job descriptions, identify competency requirements, perform skill-gap analysis, customize resumes, and align their academic and internship experiences with industry expectations. The program concluded with mentor–mentee
interactions dedicated to reviewing the final draft of the SIP reports and providing recommendations for further refinement. Overall, HORIZON 2026 successfully achieved its objective of reorienting students towards academic excellence, career preparedness, and professional development. The program strengthened students, understanding of specialization opportunities, enhanced their business awareness, reinforced employability skills, and ensured systematic progress on their Summer Internship Projects. The active participation of students, faculty members, mentors, Area Heads, and the Corporate Resource Centre contributed significantly to the success of the program, providing a strong foundation for the academic and professional journey of the MBA Batch 2025–2027.
Empowering Faculty with AI: A Five-Day FDP on Deep Learning and Generative AI by MCA Department

The Department of Information Technology (MCA), I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Deep Learning, Gen AI Tools, Prompt Engineering and Real-World AI Applications” from 20th to 24th July 2026, with participation from 35 faculty members of the IT (MCA) and MBA departments. The program featured distinguished resource persons including Prof. Vinay Nangia, Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey, Dr. Rajdev Tiwari, Dr. Suneet Kumar Gupta, Dr. Puja Dhar, Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha, and Prof. Varun Arora.
The sessions offered comprehensive insights into emerging AI technologies and their practical applications. Dr. Suneet Kumar Gupta delivered a session on the fundamentals of Deep Learning, Neural Networks, CNNs, RNNs, recent advances, and current research trends. Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey addressed Generative AI, AI architectures, emerging AI trends, Prompt Engineering, prompt design techniques, and best practices for Large Language Models, along with hands-on applications of AI tools in teaching and academic research. Dr. Rajdev Tiwari explored AI applications in healthcare, finance, manufacturing, agriculture, and smart cities, supported by industry case studies and insights into future career opportunities in AI. Prof. Varun Arora conducted a session on the PRISMA framework, AI-assisted literature review, systematic review methodology, and the effective use of Generative AI in research.
Further, Dr. Puja Dhar delivered an insightful session on Machine Learning for Cybersecurity, threat detection, intrusion detection systems, AI-based security solutions, and real-world cybersecurity applications. Dr. Ashish Kumar Jha focused on AI-assisted academic writing, coding, data analysis, literature review techniques, and research productivity tools. The FDP concluded with Prof. Vinay Nangia’s session on AI-based lesson planning, teaching pedagogy, technology-enabled classroom practices, and innovative curriculum design.
Through expert-led lectures, practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and real-world case studies, the FDP enhanced participants’ understanding and practical skills in AI for teaching, research, academic writing, coding, data analysis, cybersecurity, and curriculum development. As part of its commitment to social responsibility and youth empowerment, the Utthan Activity (A CSR Initiative) of the Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, organized an awareness activity titled “Sankalp – Shaping a Drug-Free Generation (Nasha Mukti Abhiyan)” for underprivileged school students of class 6, 7 and 8 on 23rd July 2026.
The objective of the activity was to educate young minds about the harmful effects of drugs, tobacco, alcohol, and other addictive substances while encouraging them to adopt a healthy and responsible lifestyle.
The program commenced with an awareness session highlighting the importance of making positive life choices and resisting peer pressure. Students were motivated to become ambassadors of a drug-free society by spreading awareness among their families, friends, and communities.
To reinforce the message creatively, a Drawing and Poster Making Competition was conducted on the theme “Sankalp – Shaping a Drug-Free Generation”. Students were provided with sheets and stationary and they enthusiastically participated by expressing their thoughts through colourful drawings, creative slogans, and impactful posters. Their artwork depicted the ill effects of substance abuse, the importance of healthy living, and the vision of a safe and addiction-free future.
The event concluded with a Drug-Free Pledge, where MBA student volunteers made all students pledge to stay away from drugs and harmful substances, encourage others to make healthy choices, and contribute towards creating a drug-free India.
The winners of the activity were awarded with Gifts and Certificates by Director, I.T.S - Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey and Director, I.T.S School of Management, Dr. Ajay Kumar, along with Faculty Coordinators Prof. Shilpi Rana and Dr. Prachi Pachaury.

Educational Visit of MCA Students to Vigyan Bhawan on POSH Act Awareness Organized by NCW

On 17 July 2026, the Department of MCA, Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, organized an educational visit for MCA (2025–27) students and faculty members to Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, to attend the National Awareness Programme on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).
The programme, organized by the National Commission for Women (NCW), was inaugurated by Smt. Annpurna Devi, Union Minister for Women and Child Development, in the presence of Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar, Chairperson, NCW, along with government officials, legal experts, academicians, and industry professionals. The sessions focused on the key provisions of the POSH Act, responsibilities of employers and employees, the functioning of Internal Committees, complaint redressal procedures, confidentiality, gender sensitivity, and workplace ethics. Interactive sessions and case studies also addressed inquiry procedures and challenges arising in digital workplaces.
The visit provided students with practical exposure to workplace ethics, legal compliance, professional responsibility, gender equality, and respectful workplace practices. Faculty members also gained insights into implementing POSH provisions and awareness initiatives in educational institutions.
Overall, the visit enhanced participants’ awareness of the importance of safe, inclusive, dignified, and harassment-free workplaces. It emphasized continuous sensitization, timely grievance redressal, confidentiality, and the proactive role of Internal Committees in promoting equality and professionalism.
MCA Department organized Five-Days Boot Camp on "Full Stack Application Development Using MERN Stack" for MCA III Semester (2025–27 Batch) students.

The Department of Information Technology, Institute of Technology & Science (ITS), Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, successfully organized a five-day instructor-led boot camp on "Full Stack Application Development Using MERN Stack" from 6 July to 10 July 2026 for MCA III Semester (2025–27 Batch) students. The programme was conducted by Mr. Pawan Kumar Sharma and Mr. Sonu from Appwars Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and combined expert-led sessions with extensive hands-on laboratory training.
The boot camp provided practical exposure to modern full-stack web development using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. Participants learned frontend and backend development, REST API creation, database integration, authentication, version control with Git and GitHub, and deployment techniques while building real-world applications. The training emphasized project-based learning, collaborative coding, and industry best practices.
The programme concluded with an assessment, and participants meeting the attendance and performance criteria were awarded certificates.
5 days FDP on AI-Driven Data Analytics

The Institute of Technology and Science (ITS), Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad successfully organized a Five-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on AI-Driven Data Analytics for Research: Research Publishing, Python, Machine Learning, Tableau, and Power BI from 6th July to 10th July 2026. The programme aimed to strengthen the research and analytical competencies of faculty members by providing practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Python programming, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, Tableau, Power BI, and Research Paper Development.
The programme commenced with an Inaugural Session led by Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director, ITS, who emphasized the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence in higher education, research, and industry. The inaugural sessions focused on AI-powered research tools, literature review, academic writing, reference management, and publication ethics, enabling participants to understand the ethical and effective use of AI in research.
On the second day, Prof. Abhay K. Ray introduced participants to Python programming for data analytics. The sessions covered Python fundamentals, Jupyter Notebook, NumPy, Pandas, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), and data cleaning techniques. The afternoon sessions focused on Machine Learning concepts, including supervised and unsupervised learning, regression, decision trees, support vector machines (SVM), K-nearest neighbours (KNN), and clustering techniques. Through extensive hands-on exercises, participants learned how Python and machine learning can be effectively applied in academic research and data-driven decision-making.
The third day, conducted by Mr. Pratik Kumar, focused on Python-based data visualization and Tableau. Participants gained practical experience in creating publication-quality charts and graphs using Matplotlib and performing correlation analysis. The afternoon sessions introduced Tableau, where participants developed interactive dashboards, applied filters and parameters, and explored data storytelling techniques to communicate research findings more effectively.
The fourth day was devoted to Microsoft Power BI, where participants learned data importing, Power Query, data transformation, data modelling, DAX functions, and relationship management. Interactive sessions on dashboard creation, KPI development, drill-down analysis, and report publishing demonstrated how Business Intelligence tools can support research, institutional reporting, and managerial decision-making through dynamic visualizations.
The final day focused on Research Paper Development, covering the interpretation of analytical results, discussion writing, preparation of publication-quality tables and figures, manuscript structuring, publication ethics, journal selection, and best practices for academic publishing. Participants gained valuable insights into transforming research findings into high-quality manuscripts suitable for publication in reputed journals.
The programme concluded with a Valedictory Session graced by Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director, Dr. Prateek Gupta, Dr. Sanjeev Tandon, and Dr. Puja Dhar. The dignitaries appreciated the active participation of faculty members and acknowledged the valuable contributions of the resource persons. Certificates were distributed to all participants, followed by participant feedback and a group photograph.

Dr. Parul Gupta, Assistant Professor from the department of MBA was invited as resource person for a training program at Toshi Automation solutions Limited on July 4, 2026. The session on Managing Personal Finances was designed to apprise the employees about key aspects of building a robust finance portfolio. The training was delivered through interactive activities, live examples and real-life scenarios.
The MDP commenced with discussion on the need of financial planning wherein, the participants were explained the importance of small regular investments. Data based examples highlighted the power of compounding when a person starts investing early. Participants were also explained the different avenues of investment and the measure they can take to verify the authenticity of the options.
The training program witnessed overwhelming response and enthusiastic participation of all the attendees. The queries raised by the participants reflected their renewed approach towards managing and optimizing the personal finances.

The MBA Department of the Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad successfully organized “The Great Financial Quest,” a treasure hunt competition, on April 23, 2026. The event was conducted by the Finvest Club from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm across the New Seminar Hall and various campus locations. It aimed to enhance students’ understanding of financial concepts through an interactive and engaging learning approach.
A total of 11 teams, each comprising four members, participated in the event. The competition revolved around solving finance-based clues placed at eleven different locations within the campus. Each clue required the application of financial knowledge, leading participants to the next destination. The storyline involved locating a stolen portfolio worth Rs. 10 crores, adding excitement and curiosity among participants.
The team that successfully solved all clues and reached the final destination first was declared the winner.
The event was conducted under the kind guidance of Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey, Director, ITS Mohan Nagar and was graced by Dr. Sanjeev Tandon, Chairperson (MBA), who motivated the participants and appreciated their efforts. on 21st April 2026. The session featured DR. R.P Singh IPS (Retd), Former Director General of Police (Training Directorate) – UP, Former Deputy Director General – Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), New Delhi, and an expert associated with the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) and Special Investigation Team (SIT), as the distinguished speaker.
The program commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati by distinguished speaker Dr. R. P. Singh; Dr. Sunil Kr Pandey, Director, I.T.S Mohan Nagar; and Dr. Nancy Sharma, Principal, I.T.S UG Campus.
In his welcome address, Dr Sunil Kr Pandey highlighted the importance of leadership qualities and crisis-handling abilities in today’s dynamic world. He stated, “Leadership is not only about taking charge during good times, but also about making responsible decisions during difficult situations. Students must develop resilience, discipline, and problem-solving abilities to become effective leaders of tomorrow.” He further emphasised that educational institutions play a vital role in nurturing confident, ethical, and socially responsible individuals.
Delivering the keynote address, Dr. R.P. Singh shared valuable insights from his vast experience in policing, training, and crisis management. He remarked, “True leadership is tested during challenging situations. A leader must remain calm, decisive, and focused while guiding others through uncertainty.” He also highlighted that crisis management requires preparation, presence of mind, teamwork, and strong communication skills. Encouraging students to prepare themselves for leadership roles, he added, “Young minds have the potential to bring positive change in society through courage, integrity, and commitment.”
The session was attended by faculty members, staff, and more than 250 students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks, during which speakers encouraged the youth to develop leadership qualities, remain confident in crises, and contribute positively to society and nation-building.

A workshop on “IoT and Sensor Programming” was organized by the Programming Club of the Department of IT at the Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad on 18th April 2026. The session aimed to provide participants with both theoretical understanding and practical exposure to Internet of Things (IoT) concepts and sensor-based applications.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Abhay Kumar Ray along with MCA alumni Abhishek Kapur and Love Kumar. They introduced students to IoT architecture, components such as sensors, actuators, and controllers, and explained real-world applications including smart homes, healthcare systems, industrial automation, and smart cities.
A key highlight of the workshop was the hands-on simulation using Tinkercad, where participants learned sensor programming (distance and temperature sensing). The speakers also discussed industry applications, career opportunities, and the growing demand for IoT professionals.Overall, the workshop was informative and interactive, benefiting 26 participants.

The Institute of Technology & Science, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, successfully organized the Young Talent Hunt (YTH) – 2026, an inter-college quiz competition aimed at fostering academic excellence, analytical thinking, and competitive spirit among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation at multiple levels, making it a grand academic celebration.
The competition began at the college level, where approximately 4,500 students from 71 colleges participated in the preliminary round. After a rigorous selection process, the most talented participants advanced to the final round. The Grand Finale, held on 17th April 2026, featured 250 students representing 50 colleges, showcasing exceptional knowledge across diverse domains including Sports, Politics, Entertainment, History, and Business.
The event was conducted in a highly engaging and professional manner, reflecting the dedication and teamwork of faculty members and student coordinators. The quiz not only tested knowledge but also encouraged quick thinking, accuracy, and confidence among participants.
