Mr. Jitendra Mohanis a strategic consultant specialized in helping foreign companies to gain access into the Indian market. His company provides workable strategic solutions and implementation assistance to global companies for leveraging the India advantage.

The session started with the brief introduction of the company, its roles and functions. The speaker of the day explains how his company helps multinationals to launch their products in India. Through case based approach the speaker addressed the students on how the knowledge of business research is applied in the real world. During his discussion he highlighted on how they conduct feasibility study, he also discussed about when to use primary and secondary research.

While taking the case of artificial sweetener marketing company, he demonstrates how they segment the customer, how they decide the population and how they decide the market size. In the last he conclude that to be a successful researcher you need to have a research acumen and an analytical bent of mind to see the problem at hand.  

Overall session was full of knowledge sharing, the session was interactive and students raised many questions. In the end a plaque was presented to the speaker of the day by Dr. V. N.Bajpai, Director Managementas a token of gratitude to Mr. Jitendra Mohan.

The Guest Speaker of the session was Ms. Ritu Arora - Certified Corporate Trainer (Microsoft Excel |Power BI)

Ms. Ritu Arorahas been working as a Corporate Trainer since July 2007 and Imparted more than 500 Batches and Trained more than 10000 people.

Director – Dr. V.N. Bajpai welcomed the guest and enlightened the whole audience.

Ms. Ritu startedthe presentation with the most basic terminology of Excel, where she tried to make the session more interactive by asking relevant questions and practical exposures.

The session started with the rows and column shortcuts and even included the concepts of advanced Excel which includethe shortcuts- Ctrl+(), Shift+ f11, Ctrl+Page down and Page Up, Ctrl+: Left Alt+=, Average, Minimum, Maximum, Drag and Drop option, grouping and ungrouping data, slicer, pivot table and it’s use, VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP, and freezing data. Practice worksheets were also being given and YouTube channels were also referenced for learning.

There are certainly more advanced functions of Excelwhich were quoted and lastly, a brief introduction was given over advanced Excel certification and its importance, business trends, and usage of Excel in the corporate world.

Lastly, the eminent guest was being honored with the plague and Words of Gratitude. The workshop was a total sum of learning, knowledge, and exploration regarding advanced Excel.

K. Pandey, Sports Coordinator and Mr. Kapil Chaudhary,  Sports Officer, I.T.S, Ghaziabad. Dr. D. K. Pandey, welcomed to digniteries, participants, coaches and parents. Dr. Sunil Pandey expressed his best wishes to all the participants. Dr. Sunil Pandey also communicated the message of Sh. Aprit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S-The Education Group and Vice President, Ghaziabad Association of Table Tennis, whereby he congratulated the efforts of GATT for their consistent effort in promoting the Table Tennis in the vicinity of the district. He also said that I.T.S will always be supporting all such events in future.

On this occasion, Ghaziabad Association of Table Tennis felicitated Ms. Avani Tripathi by a cash prize of Rs 11,000, a trophy and a certificate for winning the National Championship under 15.

This Championship aimed for the selection of the players for the state team and the development of Table Tennis in the district of Ghaziabad.

The closing ceremony of this championship was held   on 12th June, 2022 in august presence of Dr. Sunil Pandey, Director (IT & UG Campus) and Dr. V. N. Bajpai, Director, Institute of Technology & Science, Ghazibad, other dignitaries were, Shri Rishi Raj Tyagi, Secretary (Ghaziabad Association of Table Tennis) Mr. Kashish Arora, Chief Referee, Dr. D. K. Pandey, Sports Coordinator and Mr. Kapil Chaudhary,  Sports Officer, I.T.S, Ghaziabad.

The dignitaries congratulated all the winners and conveyed best wishes for future success.

The guest of the day Mr. Nishant Madhukar, Managing Partner and Chief of Strategy- Madhouse works, explained how start-ups can read the environment and strategize for their growth.

The session was graced by Dr.VN Bajpai, Director- ITS Ghaziabad, who welcomed the guest and motivated the students to give shape to their dreams of being entrepreneurs by being active learners and receptive to the opportunities in the environment.

During the session, Mr. Madhukar discussed in detail various measures an aspiring entrepreneur can take to ensure that the venture can thrive in the competitive world. He motivated the students to identify their Ikigai and pursue their aspirations accordingly.

The session also witnessed active participation form the students as they raised their queries related to the topic. The explanations and examples given by Mr. Madhukar helped in creating a good understanding of the discussion among the students.

The objective of the activity was to enhance knowledge of participants and boost their HR ability and critical thinking. It also enabled students to understand Role clarity and the feeling of work engagement. MBA students of 2021-23 batch participated in teams of 5 members each. It has 2 rounds. First round was having a set of Work engagement games and participants had to meet the standard to reach the final round. The final round was a quiz round where mental ability of the participants was judged. The club activity was started by welcoming the participants. It was followed by motivational words for participants by Prof. Smita Barik , Faculty coordinator of the club.

The activity started with full of energy by the participants. All participants planned strategies and gave their best to win the activity. The activity was conducted by HR Club METANOIA MBA for batch 2021-2023 under the guidance and provision of HR club METANOIA MBA coordinator Prof. Smita Barik . The winning team were awarded   & motivated by giving amazing prizes.

The purpose of the workshop was to acquaint participants on how to use the incredible powerful tool “Data analysis” in excel and save time. The session was attended by BBA first year. Almost 70 students participated in the workshop.

The basic motive of the workshop was how to generate a report of univariate statistics for data using descriptive statistics. Correlation and regression concepts were discussed with the latest examples of covid -19 cases. Also, a practical session was conducted during the workshop to enhance the understanding of conceptual theories.

Vibrant students and faculty members raised intelligent queries during the session and also after the session. The queries were dealt with satisfactory responses

Development of Tribal Areas in Dzongu, Sikkim” at the International Conference on Recent Advances in the Field of Management, Law, Education and Technology (ICRAMLET 22), which was hosted by the Aligarh Muslim University’s Murshidabad centre via online mode on the 2nd of June, 2022. The conference was being organised through thirteen technical sessions, all being beamed through Google Meet. Researchers, academicians and students from all across the country participated in the conference.

Dr Mandal had co-authored the paper which studied how female entrepreneurs had contributed to improvement in the socio-economic conditions and culture among the tribals residing in the northern district of Sikkim. The paper considered the economic, social and psychological barriers encountered by women in the pursuit of their chosen interest areas. It also suggested policy measures for creating greater awareness among the rural communities while also advocating more support from the government.

The presentation and the issues it highlighted were commended by those present. It was one of several papers examining diverse issues of national and regional importance during the fifth technical session of the conference. The session was competently hosted by Prof. Md. Fahimuddin from AMU, who also happened to be the Chief Coordinator of the conference. Prof. Md. Imdadul Haque, Associate Professor from the Department of Economics of the same institution was the Session Chair, and provided his well considered opinions on the different papers presented.

While addressing the gathering Director- IT&UG, Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey said that these sessions are very useful for the students so that they can listen & interact with the Guest like Mr. Ben. He said that Institute always provides platform to the students where they can update their knowledge and implement it in their real life.

Mr. Ben Tucker, guest of the session said that students should follow 5-key points in life to be successful including Hard work & focus towards his goal, learning from failures, mentoring other (Team work), keep learning attitude and last but not least taking care of your passion. It may be sports, games so that those things can make you relaxed for the performance of next job.

While addressing the students he also shared his experience and quoted many live examples of his struggle which may be helpful to the students in their future.

The session was interactive &helpful to students.He also took many queries of the students. At the end of this session Chairperson, MCA Prof. Puja Dhar delivered vote of thanks.

Students organized an activity named- Think about your aim; whereby children can have a basic idea of what an individual having basic workings and what they shall have the basic duties in terms of emergency...

Kids were asked about their personal interests and try to explore their mind set regarding what they want to become and what they can do to make them clear about their aims. As a child's mind has thousands of confused thoughts, so students just tried to make sure that children may have basic ideas to solve their confusions.

Children were informed that, with the single emergency number-112, one can get benefit of all the other existing helpline numbers. This number is an integration of Police, Fire and women helpline numbers. Activity was ended with the distribution of Merry's Chocolate biscuits and Melody Coffee-Bite toffees among the children. All the student volunteers were quite happy & satisfied by providing their small contribution in making our society more valuable & Beautiful.

Keeping in mind the excitement of the children for summer vacation, Utthan, a CSR initiative of Institute of Technology & Science, Ghaziabad, Department of Management, conducted a very interesting session on  "Summer Break Special and Computer Lab activity”  for Government School students of class 1st to 8th in the campus on May 26, 2022. 

During the first part of the activity, Children discussed their interests/hobbies and plan to spend their summer break with the Faculty Coordinators and student volunteers. Also they showcased their talent like dance, sketch etc. to all the Utthan Club students. Students were also given some puzzles and riddles where the creative minds were able to solve them all with utmost enthusiasm. 

In the second half, all the students were taken to Computer Lab where they were asked to draw different figures using the shapes tool of Ms Paint and were asked to discuss various tools of MS paint. 

Faculty Coordinators, Dr. Nitin Saxena and Prof. Shilpi Rana along with student volunteers of Utthan Club motivated the students to indulge themselves in various activities during their summer break and to utilize the best of this time. 

At the end of the day, students were awarded with exciting gifts for the best performances and were given refreshments.

on “Contemporary issues in Business Innovation, Technology & Social Science (ICBITSS 2 -2022)” organized by School of Management, Gautam Buddha University scheduled on May 24, 2022. The invite was virtual on Google meet platform.

A total of 10 presentations were scheduled. It included faculty and research scholars from IIIT, Allahabad, Gargi college, Delhi University, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University and others.

One best paper was selected from each track for consideration in the best paper award.

The evening commenced with Lamp Lighting followed by a riveting Worship dance by the students of MBA First Year.

Dr V N Bajpai, Director- ITS Ghaziabad In his address blessed the outgoing students for a successful journey ahead. He guided them to always be prepared for facing challenges in life and never give up on their dreams and aspirations.

Shri Surinder Sood, Director PR, ITS-The Education Group motivated the students to always see themselves as good ambassadors of the Institute and to keep on strengthening the relationship with their Alma Mater.

The junior batch enthralled the audience with their captivating performances and added vigour and excitement to the evening.

Songs on friendship made the senior batch emotional and took them down the memory lane.

The most awaited moment of the night was conferring of the titles to the senior batch.  Ms. Tisha Guptaand Mr. Vimal Tyagiwon the titles Ms. and Mr. Popular respectively and Mr. Adarsh Kumar Singhand Ms. Rashmi Sharmawere the recipients of the titles of Mr. & Ms. Farewell. All the winners were felicitated and blessed by the present dignitaries.

Students were emotional as they were leaving behind their friends and the institute. At the same time they were also excited and optimistic towards the possibilities which the future holds for them.

The evening ended on a high note where all the students rocked the dance floor and enjoyed the DJ followed by Hi- Tea and snacks.

The farewell ceremony full of celebration and emotions created lasting memories for all and strengthened the bond between the passing out batch and the Institute.

The entire FDP was focused upon fundamentals aspects of relevant research topic selection, literature review, research proposals writing, Data Analysis & Interpretation and writing a quality research paper. The sessions were conducted by eminent experts as resource persons.

The participants also learned through hand-on practices to enable and write the content methodologically. It was full of learning to use the research tools and helps educators in research and enriches learning experiences.
