Prof.Abhay Kumar Ray and Prof. Puja Dharwere the key resource person of this workshop.Prof .Abhay Kumar Ray taken session with practical demonstration based on Introduction to IoT and Sensor programming for using online simulator usingArduino Uno (using C and C++).Prof.PujaDhartaken a session based on Introduction of IoT and its supporting communication protocols.The workshop was coordinated by Prof. SaurabhSaxena. I am sure that this session will defiantly help the students for their knowledge enhancement and skill up-gradation.

Objective of the workshop :

This workshop must help the students to understand and take better use of theIoT Basics,Arduino Uno, Simulators based on sensors and microcontrollers , components of Arduino Uno, Application of different sensors ,Integration of sensors to the Ardunio chip, Program writing  ,development and implementation of application using Arduino Chip .

After this workshop students can develop applicationsbased on online simulator using Arduino Uno and sensors.

Pre-requisite: Knowledge of C, C++.

Content of the workshop:

Fundamentals of Internet of Things, Introduction of different IoT supporting hardware including Microcontrollers chips and Micro Processor chip, Different kinds of sensors like light sensors , Ultrasonic Sensors etc.

Introduction to Arduino UNO chip,  Programming in C/C++ , Tinkercad simulator for sensor programming.

Programming in  C++ for LED , Ultrasonic Sensor, Push Buttons,Light sensors , Temperature and humidity sensors etc

Demonstration and Hands on based on Ardunio IDE and application of Adrunio chip and sensors based sketch

Total 60 participants were participated in this workshop. participants showed their interest to learn this technology and I am sure that participants of this workshop can develop apps by using Arduino IDE, tinkercad simulator  and supporting sensors.
