The purpose of the lab is to impart communication skills in a more practical way to the participants. In the same series of activities of Communication Lab (The Speakers Forum), organized “PARICHARCHA- 2022” The Student Led Panel Discussion for PGDM batch 2021-23 on 19th April, 2022.

The aim of the discussion is to spark conversation between a group of experts from business, politics and thought leaders. The objective of the activity was to make participants enhance their conversational skills and to make them socially aware about the current affairs of the world. In total 10 groups participated and presented their views in form of panel discussion on different topics like Union Budget-2022, Future of E- Vehicles, Privatisation in PSU, Impact of Ukraine and Russian war on Indian economy, Crypto currency, Evolution of Digital India, Sri Lanka Crisis, Green Marketing, New Education Policy, Bio war and Bio weapon..

Each group has to appoint a moderator, news reporter along with a team of panelist from different sections of the society. All the students represented well with a tinge of humor and entertainment. The discussions were further sparked with the firing questions from the audience and the news reporters being appointed by the group. The other interesting element of the activity was that it gave opportunity to the students to experience the hybrid corporate culture, by providing the option of online participation to two participants only in group. This practice gave students a platform to understand the hybrid style of working and be more competent with virtual communication and net etiquettes.

It was indeed an interactive session. Everyone enjoyed it and appreciated the activities of Communication Lab as it helped the students to gain confidence and improvise their oratory skills.

All the winners were rewarded with Trophies, Individual medals and Certificate of Appreciation by Director- Dr. V.N Bajpai, PGP Chairperson- Dr. Anusha Agarwal, Prof. Yachna Malhotra and esteemed judges- Prof. Mayank Sharma and Prof. Shilpi Rana.
