The Department of MBA, Institute of Technology & Science, Ghaziabad organized an Industrial Visit to Om Logistics Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. on November 15, 2025

for MBA second-year students specializing in Operations (Batch 2024–26). The visit was meticulously planned and coordinated by Ms. Samiksha Budakoti, who oversaw all logistical arrangements, communication with the host organization, and overall execution of the visit. She was supported by Dr. Sanjeev Tandon and Ms. Babita Kapila, who accompanied the students during the visit to assist in supervision, ensure discipline, and facilitate interaction between students and company representatives. The objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to real-time logistics operations, warehouse management practices, and modern supply chain systems.
The visit commenced with an insightful training session conducted by senior officials of Om Logistics, who provided an overview of the logistics sector, the company’s integrated supply chain solutions, fleet and route management strategies, warehouse automation practices, and technology-driven tracking and documentation systems. This was followed by an extensive warehouse tour, where students observed inbound and outbound processes, material handling equipment, safety procedures, loading–unloading operations, and inventory management techniques such as FIFO, batch tracking, and barcode scanning. Refreshments were also arranged for the students and faculty members, offering an opportunity for informal interaction and deeper learning.
Towards the end of the visit, all participating students received Certificates of Participation, acknowledging their enthusiasm and engagement throughout the session. Additionally, two students (Suraj Sharma and Shashwat Singh) were presented with special mementos for their active involvement and their thoughtful contributions during discussions. Overall, the industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching experiential learning opportunity, enhancing students’ understanding of operational workflows, supply chain dynamics, and industry best practices, while also strengthening the connection between academic concepts and real-world applications.
