Export-Import Bank of India (Exim Bank), in its endeavour to promote and facilitate India’s trade and investment, periodically brings out research publications focusing on various countries, regions, and industries as also macroeconomic issues of relevance to international trade. With the increasing significance of the role of exports in supporting employment, Exim Bank felt the need for undertaking a Study to map the inter-linkages between exports and employment. Such kind of analysis has been conducted by institutions in other countries, such as the US Department of Commerce (for USA), and the European Commission (for Europe). A Study titled “Inter-linkages between Exports and Employment in India”, has recently been completed by Exim Bank. Exim Bank conducted the Seminar based on the theme of the Study, during which the findings of the Study was presented.

The Seminar was held at Magnolia Hall, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi
