A guest talk on “Journey towards Cloud” was organized by DBMS club on 2nd March 2016.Mr. Kamal Dudejafrom Oracle Technologies was the speaker. Mr. Dudeja started the session by the acknowledging that he is an ITS alumnus of MCA batch (1999-2001). He briefed students about Virtualization and its types. Challenges of Virtualization were also discussed in detail.He has given the insight of cloud computing also.He has also given knowledge of different services provided by cloud computing like SAAS,PAAS, IAAS etc. He concluded the session by clearing the doubts of students regarding the cloud computing.

At the end of workshop Director (IT) Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey advised students to work hard by emphasizing on understanding the basic fundamentals of all the subjects which they have studied or are studying in the current semester. He also suggested students to start preparing themselves for the placement process too.

Workshop concluded by giving vote of thanks by the MCA IVth semester student MS. Pummy.

Overall it was an interactive and an eye opening session for the students of MCA-IV Semester.
