The online session commenced at 1: 40 PM with a warm welcome by the faculty of I.T.S College Prof. Amrit Kant Jha, who emphasized the importance of supply chain management in today’s dynamic business environment. Dr. Singh began his session by outlining the key challenges faced by supply chains in a globalized economy, including disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical tensions, and rapid technological advancements.

Dr. Singh structured the workshop into these key segments: Introduction to Supply Chain Innovation where he discussed definition and importance of innovation in supply chain management & Case studies of companies that successfully leveraged innovation to enhance their supply chains. Also in Technological Disruptions and Opportunities he discussed role of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, and the Internet of Things (IoT) in supply chain optimization. The discussion also covered predictive analytics and real-time tracking systems.

The workshop highlighted the critical need for innovation and adaptability in supply chains to navigate the challenges of the modern business landscape. It underscored the significance of technology and strategic restructuring as key enablers of efficient and resilient supply chains.
