As part of the ongoing FUSION 2026 Orientation Programme for the newly admitted 23rd Batch of MBA and 30th Batch of MCA, I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, hosted an insightful industry-expert session on 19 August 2026.

The day began with sessions focused on participant-driven clubs, facility and faculty briefing, and an ice-breaking interaction, helping students become familiar with the academic environment and engage with their peers.

The programme began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey, Director, I.T.S, Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad. Addressing the newly admitted students, he spoke about the rapid pace of technological disruption, innovation, and the ever-changing business landscape. He highlighted how emerging technologies are reshaping traditional business models and encouraged students to embrace change, think innovatively, keep learning, and understand how technology can address real-world business needs.

A key highlight was the industry expert session by Dr. H. S. Banga, Group Chief Digital Officer, Movers International, on “Building Tomorrow’s Supply Chains: Technology, Talent & Transformation.”In his highly engaging session, Dr. H. S. Banga discussed how digital technologies, data-driven decision-making, automation and integrated systems are reshaping modern supply chains. Through real-world business cases, students gained insights into operational challenges, efficiency, resilience and the creation of measurable business value.

The programme further explored critical contemporary themes including cybersecurity, risk governance and leadership in the digital enterprise, as well as AI-driven careers and industry expectations. Students were also introduced to the growing convergence of Enterprise AI and Enterprise Blockchain in business.

He further highlighted that technology alone cannot create transformation unless it is supported by the right talent, mindset, leadership and organisational readiness. His interaction enabled students to understand how business problems are approached in the corporate world and how technology can be leveraged to create measurable business value.

Another important session was delivered by Smt. Kaamna Jain, Lead Communication and Collaboration, NASSCOM, on “Future-Ready Careers: Industry Expectations, AI Skills, and Career Pathways with NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime.” The session focused on helping students understand what the industry expects from freshers and how they can prepare themselves for successful entry into the corporate world.

Smt. Kaamna Jain discussed the key expectations of employers from fresh graduates, including relevant skills, professional communication, confidence, adaptability, a willingness to learn and the ability to demonstrate practical understanding. She also shared insights into what is commonly asked during interviews and encouraged students to prepare themselves by understanding both the role they are applying for and the skills required by the industry.

She further introduced students to career pathways and AI-related skills through NASSCOM FutureSkills Prime. The session also included information about the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with I.T.S and the courses offered through the initiative, giving students an understanding of opportunities available to strengthen their employability and develop future-ready skills.

The sessions enabled students to understand how emerging technologies are transforming businesses while highlighting the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, leadership and a future-ready mindset.
