Department of Management, I.T.S, Ghaziabad Faculty Dr. Gurpreet Kaur attended two insightful workshops titled “Bringing Design & Build Industry Skills into Classrooms for Gen Next” and “Education 5.0: Beyond Technology, Towards Human-Centric Futures in the Times of AI,” conducted as part of Didac India &Didac Skills 2025 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), Dwarka, New Delhi on November 18-20 ,2025.




The events, organised by the Furniture & Fittings Skill Council (FFSC) and Jaipuria Group of Schools, brought together education leaders and industry experts to explore the evolving landscape of skill-based and AI-driven education for Gen Next learners.
The first session by FFSC focused on integrating real-world Design & Build industry skills into classroom teaching. It emphasised the role of hands-on learning, design thinking and industry collaboration in preparing future-ready students. The workshop showcased modern tools and emerging skill trends, encouraging institutions to align academic delivery with the demands of rapidly changing industries.
The second workshop on Education 5.0 highlighted the importance of balancing technological advancements with human-centric values. Discussions revolved around AI-enabled personalised learning, digital ethics, holistic development and the need for emotionally intelligent teaching practices. Overall, the workshops offered valuable insights that can strengthen curriculum innovation, promote industry–academia synergy and enrich the teaching-learning experience at I.T.S, Ghaziabad.
