Expert deliberations focused upon differing priorities for Public Sector Organizations globally, how to build and sustain a world class PSU in India, Coaching and Mentoring as tools for succession planning, attracting and retaining millennial in PSUs, ways to leverage CSR for building the PSU employer brand and make use of HR technology to improve HR processes in PSUs. The conference also explored the role played by PSUs in Nation building and their contribution towards sustainability efforts.

The speakers emphasized on ensuring balance among technology, decisions and people for any organizational development. People need to be developed in order to address the paucity of skilled workforce. PSUS can’t imitate private sector practices or what other Public sector enterprises are doing in western countries. They need to explore their own policy frameworks and there should be no hesitation in adopting any best practice (no matter from where it comes) which has already delivered the result.

A special talk delivered by expert from Deloitte, Mr Nitin Razdan widened the participants’ perspective related to the future of work and the evolving role of learning organizations. The second day post lunch session of conference gave an opportunity to participants to experience music and understand key business lessons with expertise of Ms Sunita Bhuiyan. The sessions also focused upon how to drive change in the organization within limitations by understanding the analogy of evolving music with same seven notes and rhythm.

Panel discussions, special talks and group sessions at the conference enriched the participants with current HR practices, challenges and possible solution in PSU sector.
