The Department of MBA, Institute of Technology and Science (I.T.S), Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad, conducted a two-day workshop titled “Power BI Essentials: Analytics and Visualization for Management Professionals” on 22 and 23 October 2026 for the MBA (2026–28) batch. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Saurav Gupta, who introduced students to the practical applications of Power BI in business analytics and managerial decision-making.

The programme was organised with the objective of enhancing students’ analytical capabilities and familiarising them with contemporary business intelligence tools. The sessions focused on the role of data in business decision-making, the presentation of complex information through visual representations, and the development of interactive dashboards for analysing business performance.

During the workshop, students explored the fundamentals of Power BI and its relevance in transforming raw data into meaningful insights. The training emphasised the importance of data visualisation in identifying trends, interpreting performance indicators, and supporting informed decisions across various functional areas of management, including finance, marketing, operations, and human resource management.

The workshop provided students with exposure to the practical use of business intelligence in organisational settings. It also highlighted the growing significance of data-driven management practices and the need for future managers to develop proficiency in analytical tools.
