1st April, 2018 activity of ‘Parivartan’- the Slum Education Programme, a CSR initiative of ITS, Ghaziabad included a brief on April Fool’s Day, a session on Indian and Roman Numbers and a Mathematical rhyme.

The first session of the day was on ‘The April Fool’s Day’ during which the children were told about the day. They were informed that on this day we befool our friends and family members for fun and make our life a little lighter. At the same time the children were told not to joke with anyone to such an extent that he/she feels bad or suffers a damage or big loss.

The second session of the day was on ‘Indian and Roman Numbers’ during which the children practiced these numbers and repeated them many times. A Mathematical rhyme (One two buckle your shoe, three four open the door) also interested them a lot. At the end of the class, some children amazed us with the surprise gifts. As every year, they had brought beautiful idols of Lord Ganesh along with other gifts like flower vase.

The class concluded with the distribution of biscuits, tattoos and éclairs. Dr. Gopal Krishna Dwivedi accompanied and guided the volunteers as the faculty coordinator of CSR Club.
