Jyoti first engaged the students in understanding what yoga was all about. She explained all the varieties of techniques utilised here and the rationale behind each. She also took care to diligently explain the benefits accruing from the different asanas.

Then Sudhanshu took centre stage as he demonstrated a number of useful asanas like TrikonasanTadasan, some elements of Suryanamaskar,VajrasanShabasanBalasanBhramarasan and Simhasan. In order to lighten things up he even demonstrated Hasyasan. While the children joined in enthusiastically, care was taken to ensure that they performed each asana in the proper manner.

Finally popular and useful techniques like kapalbhati and anulom vilom were also demonstrated. The unique and eye opening day ultimately came to an end with the distribution of ‘Bikano Namkeen’ packets and Eclairs toffees.
