The volunteers of the day were Sudhanshu Dixit, Kirti Singh, Monica Gupta and Tanishq Pratap Singh.

The classroom session of the day was handled expertly by Kirti as she rattled off figures relating to India’s preeminent position among the nations of the world. The session was very informative for the learners as there were aspects not normally discussed within the confines of a classroom.

Then it was time for the fun part, as the games began. Sudhanshu involved the smaller kids in a separate session, while the older ones were made part of a reverse command game, so as to identify ten winners. The ten winners were then assigned color photos, on the basis of which they were supposed to create a story. Basically the motive here was to encourage some creativity from the young ones. After some initial hesitance, proper guidance led to better performance. The three best performers received prizes in the form of bat and ball sets.

The quiz session returned as a means of recapitulating the fact based earlier session of the day. Things were then brought to a close with the distribution of ‘Good Day’ biscuits and ‘Parle Orange Bite’ toffees. Prof. Lokesh Upreti planned and guided the volunteers in the conduct of the programme as the faculty coordinator of CSR Club - Parivartan.
