Since the series on Panchtantra Ki Kahaniya was in practice for long, the slum children had got detached from the academic lessons learnt so far. Keeping the same thought in mind, the volunteers decided to name it ‘An Overhauling Class’ and revised all the important previous lessons aloud including Counting up to 100 in Hindi and English, Tables and English alphabets.
The weather was fine for all but it was not suitable for this class. As soon as the revision of few lessons took place, the drizzles started. Still the volunteers and the children completed the task unmoved and effectively. Active participation and responses to our subject related questions were acknowledged with the on the spot prizes.
The class concluded with the distribution of Crax salty snacks and éclairs among all the children. Dr. Gopal Krishna Dwivedi accompanied and guided the volunteers as the faculty coordinator of CSR Club.
