The talk of the day was on ‘Defence Forces of India’ during which the volunteers described the peculiarities of all three forces of India i.e. Army, Air Force and Navy. The descriptions mainly included the difference in uniform, its colour, area of operations, weapons used, synchronization of all three forces, their uniqueness and difference between defence forces and police.
The children were also told about the gallantry awards including the highest Paramveer Chakra. After the briefing, a quiz was conducted on the same content and the correct responses were appreciated with the on the spot prizes (stickers and cards brought by PGDM volunteer Ms. Akanksha Trivedi).
The children really felt interested in the description of Forces. Their queries and responses gave the volunteers a feeling and satisfaction that the content has been well absorbed.
