The first session of the day was on ‘The Ingredients of Success’ in which the volunteers showed the children a video which had three fold morals to share. It taught the children basic maths, honesty and ways of rising high in life through hard-work and sincerity. At the end of the video-based talk, a short quiz was conducted and the most appropriate answers were appreciated with fabulous prizes.

The second session of the day was a Cut and Paste Competition in which the children had to create any picture, scenery or craft without using pen, pencil or colours. The talent and the imaginations they displayed were literally incredible. The children could create well-built houses with dwellers peeping from inside, landscapes, animals and birds. Some of them even included ‘ITS’ in their creations.

The best performers were appreciated and felicitated with enticing prizes like Cricket bats, Badminton Kits, Toys, Tumblers, Mugs, Waffys and many more. Prof. Durba Roy, Head-CRC, was really kind to appreciate the little children with her presence and praises.

The activity concluded with the snacks and the cold drinks served to all. Dr. Gopal Krishna Dwivedi guided the volunteers and enjoyed the activity as the faculty coordinator of Utthan Lab.
