Celebration of SwacchtaPakhwara from 1st -15th September 2017

In accordance with the communication received from Ministry of HRD through AICTE to celebrate SWACCHTA PAKHWADAduring 1st -15th September 2017 with an objective to pledge the support of the higher educational institutions for spreading the message of cleanliness among students. Keeping this in mind 5S team of Department IT, I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad has organized different activities for celebrating SwacchtaPakhwara from 1st -15thSeptember 2017. The details of the activities are under-mention:

Activity 1: Essay Contest on “Innovative Ways for Spreading the
Message of Hygiene”
Date: 5th September 2017
Essay competition was organized on 5th September 2017 for MCA students. Topic for the competition was “Innovative Ways for Spreading the Message of Hygiene”. Total 64 students from MCA course had participated in this activity. Students took part in the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. 3 winners from each year will be awarded with certificates and the gifts.

Activity 2: Green Campus Day
Date: 6th September 2017
Green Campus Day was organized on 6th September 2017 by Department IT. Director IT Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, faculty members and MCA students planted various plants at different places of I.T.S Mohan Nagar, Ghaziabad Campus.

Activity 3: Article Writing Contest on “Care for Surrounding Day: Study of Garbage Cleaning Systems in Public Places”
Date: 7th September 2017
Article writing competition was organized on 7th September 2017 for MCA students on the theme “Care for Surrounding Day”. Students had to write article on the topic“Study of Garbage Cleaning Systems in Public Places”. Students were supposed to visit public places, observe garbage cleaning systems in those places and then they were asked to write the article based on their observations in this event.Total 88 students from MCA course had participated in this activity. Students took part in the competition with great zeal and passion. 3 winners from each year will be awarded with certificates and the gifts.

Activity 4: Elocution Contest on “Health & Hygiene is the Real Wealth”
Date: 15th September 2017
Elocution competition was organized on 15th September 2017 for MCA I, III and V students on the theme “Health & Hygiene is the Real Wealth”. Director IT Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey briefed about the need of healthy life which is a real wealth. He also encouraged students to participate in the elocution contestas it will enhance the confidence and communication skill of the students. Students took part in the competition with great zeal and enthusiasm. 3 winners from each year will be awarded with certificates and the gifts.
