A two week Workshop on “Networking and Infrastructure Management” during 30/06/2016 to 12/07/2016 has conducted successfully for students of MCA Vth semester (Batch 2014/15 – 2017) of our institute. Prof. Sauresh Mehrotra from Department of IT was the key resource person for this training Programme.

• This Workshop will help the student to better understand the Architecture, Design, and various Implementation techniques of Computer Networks and also get an insight into the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Management. 
• After attending this Workshop students will be able to :
o Identify and design Network Topology / Arrangement
o Implement, Configure, and Trouble shoot a Windows Based Client / Server Network
o Create VLAN’s and Configure them
Pre-requisite: Basic knowledge of Computer Networks
Pedagogy: 
• Session based on Introduction is conducted in Lecture cum Discussion mode.
• Rest of the session conducted in Computer Lab by live demonstration of each of the topic.
Students interested in Networking attended this training Programme. Students showed their interest to learn this techniques and I am sure that participants of this workshop will be able to create and manage a windows based computer network.
