The second session of the day was on the ‘Importance of Savings’ in our lives. The children were told what a bank is and the benefits of having a bank account. Three types of bank accounts were discussed in detail – Savings Account, Current Account and PPF Account. The general terms, conditions and benefits were explained for the curious kids.

PGDM 2016-18 batch CSR volunteer Ms. Nidhi Singh made this day even more important for the tiny tots as she had sent pens, pencils, erasers and éclairs for them out of her pleasure of recent placement in a reputed company.

The class concluded with the distribution of Crax Curls, biscuits, tattoos and éclairs. Dr. Gopal Krishna Dwivedi accompanied and guided the volunteers as the faculty coordinator of CSR Club.

Inaugural Session commenced with welcome note of Event CoordinatorProf Puja Dharfollowed by motivational address of Director PR, I.T.S - The Education Group Sh. SurinderSood who emphasized on the needof being focused on improving and skilling with technical as well as communicationskills. 
Vice Chairman I.T.S- The Education Group Shri Arpit Chadha expressed his happiness on huge participation from various institutes across the states and welcomed the guests. He said that this event will help students not only to compete with the sportsman spirit in a healthy competitive environment and showcase their learning in various event but will also provide an opportunity to meet and understand what others are doing. 
While welcoming the guests, Dr. Sunil Kr Pandey, Director – IT &CSI State Student Coordinator of UPset the tone of event by giving warm welcome address to allChief Guest, key note speakers and Special of this event and addressed the gathering. Dr. Pandey expressed his confidence that various activities shall witness high class of deliberations and shall open the new directions to the participants. He has also highlighted that this event is in the series of various national/international activities in association with Computer Society of India organized by Department of IT, I.T.S Ghaziabad. Earlier,Event Coordinator, Dr.Umang presented a brief on objectives and structure of the event.

In his address, Dr A.K. Nayak, Chief Guest of the Convention appreciated the efforts of I.T.S Ghaziabad in providing such a platform to the students to demonstrate & showcase their talent on a large forum in a competitive environment. Dr.Nayakgreeted all the participants and motivated them and said that knowledge needs to be transmitted in order to make it more useful and meaning. In his address, He has also congratulated and give best wishes to I.T.S for organizing such a wonderful event along with huge participation.

Mr Ravinder Arora, Keynote Speaker emphasized on serious engagement with Technology and understand as how young minds can contributed to take it to masses.

He shared his experience about various digital marketing methods such as search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, influencer marketing, data-driven marketing, e-commerce marketing, content automation, campaign marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing that have changed the way of promotion and branding.

Faculties were given real time experience related to Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Eearch Engine Marketing (SEM). At last, Mr. Pradeep Chopra discussed opportunities and challenges in content development, campaign development, and social media marketing along with application of various tools & techniques to attract traffic to the particular page or website.

Insights shared by him on Digital marketing could be of great help for all the participants. The webinar and its contents were very well appreciated by the participant faculty members. It was a great learning opportunity.

The objective of this workshop was to help the students in setting up an IoT Lab and be aware about this new technology. He said that ConnectiFY is a development board which allows to carry many experiments and its advance features allows to take data to the Internet using in-build features of using Ethernet, Bluetooth, XeeBee. 
Mr. Ashish said that the practical teaching system design should base on of cultivating students’ engineering ability and accomplishment, especially, the ability to solve the problem in the Internet of things engineering. Teaching about IOT technologies are closely related to make students ready for industries.
At the end of the session students were given the practical demonstration of various small applications including the basic knowledge about passive electronic components, basic circuit design, Logic family and theory, Serial and parallel interfaces and some basic knowledge about Sensors/ Actuators. 
Mr. Ashish and his team also demonstrated the basic working of microcontrollers, use of general ICs. He said that student should have the basic knowledge of C and Python. 
Students were very happy while attending this Practical based workshop. This was a new learning for the students of MCA and BCA.

Mr Rai used multiple examples and analogies to demonstrate innovative ways in which a business can keep up with the growing dynamism across the globe. The numerous examples given by Mr Rai as well as his answers to the questions raised by the students, helped in creating a good understanding of the discussion among the students.

The students took active participation in the session and expressed their eagerness to have such sessions in future as well.

On 12th April, 2018, in evening they enjoyed Alcazar Dance Show at Pattaya, which connect different cultural dimensions through various performances.

On 13th April, 2018 group went to “Coral Island” where they enjoyed adventure activities like Para-sailing, Under Water Diving and Banana Boat Ride. Also they were taken to island where they enjoyed crystal clear green water of South China Sea. They were taken for industrial visit to “Gems Gallery” which is one of the biggest in the world for finishing and retail outlet of precious gems & pearls.
On 14st April, 2018 students checked out from Pattaya and boarded for Bangkok. In Bangkok students visited beautiful Buddha Temple (Golden + Marvel).

On 15st April, 2018 students started their day with Jungle Safari. After that students were taken to “Safari World” where most amazing shows were waiting for them. In safari world they enjoyed “Orang Utan Show, Sea Lion Show, Dolphin Show, Cow Boy Show, Spy War Show and Bird Show”.

On 16th April, 2018 students were taken to “Indra Market” where they shoped for souvenirs of Thailand. Tour ended on 17th April, 2018 when students boarded for Delhi with magnificent memories of Thailand.

Winners of Collage Making Competition were Aru Bansal & Mamta Verma, Lavi Gupta & Prachi and Gourav and Rumaisa .

The winners were awarded with prizes and the certificates by Director Management, Dr. Ajay Kumar along with the faculty judges. Special gratitude and vote of thanks was given in the favor of Director Management, Dr. Ajay Kumar and the entire Jury panel. Team Finvest also showed their gratitude towards their Faculty Club Coordinator Prof. Neetu Purohit and Club President Rupanshi Bass.

The entire event was successfully coordinated by the members of Finance Club. Students displayed great enthusiasm and team work and expressed their willingness for such future activities which may further enhance their learning and enrich their experience.

The second session of the day was on ‘Game of Numbers’ during which a detailed comparison of Indian and Roman numbers was made. The basic rules of Roman numbers were explained for the children. They were told that in Roman, same type of number (xxx, iii etc) can be written only three times. They were also told that the same type of number cannot come on both sides of the central number. For example, 60 cannot be written as XLXX, it can only be written as LX.

The class concluded with the distribution of Crax Curls and éclairs. Dr. Gopal Krishna Dwivedi accompanied and guided the volunteers as the faculty coordinator of CSR Club.

Tournament started with an opening ceremony where the Chairperson (PGDM) Dr. V N Bajpai with Mr. Nitin Saxena inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon. The inaugural match was played between SK Strikers and Pawan United. Semi-Finals were played between Pawan United vs I.T.S Geeks and SK Strikers vs Raging Royals. Final match was played between I.T.S Geeks vs SK Striker. The winners were SK Strikers.

During the prize distribution ceremony where Director Management Dr. Ajay Kumar felicitated the students.

Next session was a Chat with Mr. Larry Paulson, Vice President and President, Qualcomm India who discussed the upcoming laptops with the battery life of one week even on continuous working. This was followed by a Panel Discussion on Artificial Intelligence which was interesting and informative both. Soon after the panel discussion, the students were taken to ‘Experiential Zone’ where they played various virtual games and took selfies with the huge Gorilla.

The visit concluded with the distribution of snacks packets to all the students and a heartfelt good bye to organizers.

He told students that recently Central Government has asked Lava Mobiles to manufacture maximum part in India so that employment can be generated in India. For this Lava Mobiles prepared a project estimating the parts which can be manufactured in India. For this NPV technique of capital budgeting was used and using this techniques government imposed 10% tax on import from china and introduced subsidy for Indian manufacturers. He also discussed that qualitative factors are also important with quantitative factors for evaluating a Project.

He also discussed the preparation of cost sheet for different parts like PCPA, Display unit, panel etc. He shared the factors affecting a project approval from government. He majorly emphasized on the generation of revenue for company as well as for government from the project. He also discussed the simple payback technique for evaluating the project. In closing of the session he asked students to be expert in MS EXCEL and Financial Modelling for bright future in finance industry. 

Session ended with vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Ankur Ahuja.

In PICTOWORD, each team comprised of two students. The participants were given HR terms and one of the team member had to draw the term on the board and other member had to identify the term through the image. From this round, 8 teams got selected for the next stage. In secret superstar round, the team members were asked to fill in the questionnaire which comprised of similar set of questions of their self-interest as well as their partner’s interest. The members were made to sit separately and fill their respective questionnaires in time duration of 5 minutes. Based on the maximum similarity between the responses of team members, 4 teams got selected for the last and the final round. In this round, a quiz was conducted and the questions from various fields (politics, management, Celebrity, Corporate world etc.) were identified for this purpose. After finishing of the third round three groups were declared as the winning teams.

The winners of the event were, Asif Sami and Sanchit Mittal, Kunal Singh and Simmi Sharma and Saddam and Sourabh.

The event concluded by presenting awards to the winning teams by the Director Management - Dr. Ajay Kumar, Chairperson MBA Course – Dr. DK Pandey, Faculty coordinator of HR-Club - Ms. Bhavna Bhardwaj. The event was applauded and appreciated by one and all.

The Students were presented with awards in three categories. These categories were:

• Top 10 rankers in MBA I Semester external exams.

• Top 10 improvements in MBA III semester over MBA II semester external exams.

• Top 10 rankers in MBA II Year.

A total number of 30 students were awarded under above categories. The awardees were rewarded with certificates.
