Ltd. and International Journal of Computer Applications (IJCA), New York, USA.

Conference was formally inaugurated in the gracious presence of Sh. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group; Chief Guest, Sh. Rakesh Malik, MD, Combine Ways & Former Vice President, Siemens; Key Note Speakers Sh. Harshdeep Marwah, Country Manager, Verizon Enterprises Solutions & Sh. Aniruddha Sen, Enterprise Strategic Advisor, Microsoft India; Sh. Surendra Sood, Chief Administrator, I.T.S – The Education Group; Dr. Sunil Kumar Pandey, Director IT, I.T.S Ghaziabad; Invited Guests, Delegates, and Faculty Members. The proceedings of Conference, containing accepted research papers, was also released during inaugural session. The newly set-up video conferencing facility was also inaugurated at I.T.S Ghaziabad on the same day, wherein all the dignitaries and faculty members were present. Prof. Rakesh Roshan, Co-Convener, NGTBES-2016 presented a brief about the Conference and Prof. Saurabh Saxena, Co-Convener, NGTBES-2016 was the MOC for inaural session. 
Dr. Sunil Kr. Pandey, Director-IT & Convener NGTBES-2016, welcomed the eminent speakers and guests. He presented an outline of latest happenings in the arena of technological developments and how these developments are impacting business, education and society. He reinforced that technology should reach to all without prejudice. It should be used for the benefit of all strata of society. 
In his address, Sh. Arpit Chadha, Vice Chairman, I.T.S – The Education Group, said that things are changing at a very rapid pace. The educational institutions should adapt themselves as per the industry requirements. He emphasized on a close industry-academia collaboration to churn out industry-ready professionals. 
Chief Guest of the event, Sh. Rakesh Malik, MD, Combine Ways & Former Vice President, Siemens, said that Telecommunications industry is playing the role of backbone in providing infrastructure to IT services. He motivated the students to learn new skills and to convert the demographic dividend of India into monetary dividend. He emphasized on the need of skilling Indian youths. 
Keynote Speaker, Sh. Aniruddha Sen, Enterprise Strategic Advisor, Microsoft India said that the technological advancements have started to reach the masses. The next era is not of connecting the people rather it will be of connecting the devices. He gave various examples how IT applications are being used in social, business and educational context. 
Another Key Note Speaker of the session, Sh. Harshdeep Marwah, Country Manager, Verizon Enterprises Solutions, addressed the audience and shared his various experiences. He narrated his entrepreneurial journey. Sh. Marwah motivated the students to believe in their own capabilities and decisions. He said that we should consider business and technology as two separate entities. These are two complementary things and not the supplementary. The entrepreneurs should focus on creating robust business models and then should think that how technology can make this model more efficient. 
The conference was an effort to bring researchers, industry professionals, academicians and practitioners on a common platform to deliberate on latest trends, tools and technologies in the broad-based areas of Business, Education and Society and how Information Technology can play its role in making the things happen. 
Conference received papers from authors affiliating to premier institutes like IIT, reputed companies and other universities covering various states of country such as Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi etc. These papers were rigorously reviewed for acceptance on various quality parameters and finally 25 papers were shortlisted for presentation in Conference. 
Inaugural Session was followed by a Technical Session on "Leveraging IT impact of Next Generation Technologies on Businesses, Education & Society". 
The eminent speakers in Technical Session were

• Sh. Ashish Bhatia, Program Manager, Microsoft
• Dr. D. K. Tayal, Associate Professor, IGDTUW Delhi 
• Dr. T. V. Vijay Kumar, Assistant Professor, JNU

Sh. Ashok Jade, CIO, Shalimar Paints, in his address said that it requires hard work and perseverance for succeeding in any field. He interacted with the audience, especially the students, and said that students should imbibe creativity and innovation amongst themselves. He further emphasized on the need of inclusive and sustainable global development. 
Sh. Ashish Bhatia, Program Manager, Microsoft Boston, gave a very knowledgeable talk. He presented a very insightful series of applications developed at Microsoft who are supporting businesses and society at large. There are various newer technological verticals such as Big Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision that are impacting human life. He presented a notion of seamlessly connected world and technology behind this connection.

Dr. D. K. Tayal, Associate Professor, IGDTUW Delhi spoke on the theme of Artificial Intelligence. He said that nowadays, all the gadgets and devices have some sort of intelligence. We should inspire our students to innovate and do out of box things. He gave an in-depth coverage of Fuzzy Logic and its applications in AI research.

Dr. T. V. Vijay Kumar, Assistant Professor, JNU started his address by differentiating the concept of Database and Data warehouse. Dr. Kumar said that Data warehouse supports redundancy as well as uniqueness with the help of time stamp. He then touched upon various applications and research directions in the field of Data Warehousing.

The technical session was concluded by Prof. Chandra Mani Sharma, Organizing Secretary, NGTBES-2016. Prof. Sharma summarized the key points discussed during the session.

Paper presenters presented their research papers in two post-lunch paper presentation sessions. The session chairs for parallel paper presentation sessions were Dr. Rabins Porwal, Associate Professor, ITS Ghaziabad & Dr. Umang Singh, Assistant Professor, I.T.S Ghaziabad.
During valedictory session of the Conference, Best Paper Awards & Certificate distribution ceremony was held. 
The recipients of ‘Best Paper Awards’ were as follows:
• First Prize: Ms. Bhavana, Banasthali University, Jaipur (Rs. 5,000/- Cash, Certificate and Shield)
• Second Prize : Ms. Arnika, SRM University, Ghaziabad (Rs. 3,000/- Cash, Certificate and Shield)
• Third Prize: Mr. Saurabh Pati, NSPG College, Lucknow (Rs. 2,000/- Cash, Certificate and Shield)
Overall, the conference was a great learning experience for all and was well received & appreciated by delegates coming from different parts of country.
